SPIDERLING
I always buy my spiders as spiderling. They are easy to grow. It is important to pierce containers outherwise they will drown as humidity builds up and pots become full off water. Spiderling are purchase at shows. They can also be bought mail order. When inspecting spiderling for the first time i always transfer spiderling into clean pot With fresh substrate. I give the pot a couple off squirts off water to build up humidity. Humidity is vital. Iff spiderling are moulting then start to drag there skins this means humidity is to low.

Always pierce holes in pot a film off water traps spiderling causing death
I always have plenty off containers handy. Also a pair off good quality tweezers comes in handy for grabbing small crickets. I always chill my crickets in fridge for ten Minutes to slow them down. I use peat moss as a substrate but am slowly changing back to Vermiculite. I find it better to control humidity. Peat moss tends to mould up .This is Dangerous to spiderling. Also i have found it drys out Quicker.

I always feed at night. To minimise stress
The feeding off spiderlings is little and often. I feed as often as three times a week.I always give them one cricket crushed. Adding to many crickets can be harmful as they outnumber the spider. If the spider has stopped feeding because off moult. I only use brown crickets as I have found Black crickets to be to aggressive. In rare cases they will redily eat spiderling I always make sure cricket is dead. If they kick they can kill a spiderling by crushing it.

All uneaten food is removed. This could be a sign that spiderling is going into moult

IF ANYONE HAS ANY THING TO ADD PLEASE CONTACT ME AND I WILL PUT IT ON THIS PAGE
