DUTCH SNAKE WEEKEND. This was a brilliant trip organised by Brian Davies. A good time was had by all.
A good time was had by all on this trip. A group off people set off from various points in the U.K.To Go to a reptile fair and Rotterdam zoo. The star off the show was easily a Kimono Dragon. It had no supporting cast as they were eaten. The only other place to see one off these animals is Chester zoo.What made this reptile show unique to me is its Venomous room.Rattlers,Cobras,Copperheads and various vipers graced this room.All stored in tubs that in England you would normally store spiders. The only clue you get is the skull and cross bones on there containers.What i found amusing was all the dogs running around the hall. Huge snakes licking there lips,Thinking are these titbits for dinner.At least if a pet got swallowed you would know who the guilty party is. Look for the snake with the lead coming out off its mouth. There were plenty off Corn snakes and other spieces on display . Also a weird group off people from Yorkshire ( Hello peter) .This show is definantly worth a visit.At Rotterdam zoo Saw three spiders.The only one that impressed me was the Bohemi. These are easily the most beutifull Tarantula in the word. Cannot wait until mine have grown.well watch this space as have more to write also some pics. When i get them back...........This year Germany....
